Several procedural items were completed by the Fire Commission during the meeting. The Commission moved to approve the minutes of the May 22, 2019 meeting; Commissioner Ken Cleveland moved to approve, Vice President Franci Covington seconded, and the Commission voted "aye" with no opposition.

Commissioner Cleveland moved to enter closed session; Commissioner Michael Hardiman seconded the motion; the vote to convene the closed session passed (ayes recorded). When the Commission returned to open session at 11:44, a motion was made to disclose nothing from the closed-session discussions. Commissioner Hardiman moved that the Commission disclose nothing discussed in executive session; Commissioner Cleveland seconded and the motion was approved by the body.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn moved by Vice President Covington and seconded by Commissioner Cleveland. No other formal ordinances, resolutions or contract awards were decided at the public meeting.
