San Francisco officials outline new Station 49 ambulance deployment facility and timeline

"The premise of the project is to relocate the current Station 49 from its existing location at 1415 Evans Avenue to the new location at 2245 Gerald Avenue," Samuel Chu of Public Works told the Fire Commission during a presentation that included site photos and architect renderings. The site lies between Gerald Avenue and McKinnon Avenue behind Fire Station 9.
