Fire Commission approves minutes, continues harassment policy and schedules strategic plan review

The San Francisco Fire Commission on Nov. 9 approved the minutes from its Oct. 12 meeting, continued consideration of a harassment prevention policy to the Dec. 14 meeting and discussed agenda items and scheduling for the coming month.
During Item 3, commissioners moved to approve the minutes of the Oct. 12 regular meeting; a commissioner noted minor typographical edits and the motion passed unanimously. No public comment was received on the minutes.
Under Item 5, review of the harassment prevention policy was postponed after Human Resources Director Jesusa Bouchong was called away for a family emergency. The commission continued that item to its next meeting; no public comment was offered on the policy at the Nov. 9 session.
Commissioners asked that the department circulate a draft of the strategic plan the week before the Dec. 14 meeting to allow time for review. Vice President Ken Cleveland requested that an H23 update be added to the December agenda. The meeting was then adjourned by motion.
