The San Francisco Fire Commission unanimously approved four resolutions on Feb. 10 authorizing the department to accept donations totaling roughly $164,129 and clarifying how some funds will be spent.
Mark Corso, the department's finance presenter, described each item and how the funds arrived or were recorded. He explained that gifts over $10,000 require formal approval by the Commission and the Board of Supervisors.
