Building Inspection Commission appoints litigation and nomination subcommittees; votes unanimous

The Building Inspection Commission voted unanimously on Jan. 15 to staff two standing subcommittees. Commissioners discussed committee roles and then approved membership by roll call.
On the motion to appoint members to the litigation committee, commissioners moved and seconded a slate naming Angus McCarthy, Commissioner Jacobo and Elizabeth Alexander Toot; a roll‑call vote recorded unanimous yes responses and the motion carried.
Commissioners also appointed members to the nomination subcommittee, which reviews candidates for the Access Appeals Commission, the Board of Examiners, and the Code Advisory Committee. The commission reappointed Commissioner Frank Lee and approved Commissioners Jason Tam and Sam Moss for the subcommittee by roll call, again unanimously.
