Public Works says 2011 street-repaving bond is nearly expended, paving to finish by 2019

Public Works project manager Edmond Lee told the General Obligation Bond Oversight Committee that the 2011 Road Repaving and Street Safety Bond has delivered most of its promised work and that the city is approaching its original repaving goals. The 2011 bond allocated roughly $250 million across programs, including $149,000,000 for street repaving and reconstruction and $50,000,000 for streetscape, bike and pedestrian safety improvements, Lee said (Edmond Lee).
