OCII adopts resolution thanking Commissioner Leah Pimentel for service

The Commission adopted a resolution (Resolution No. 45‑2017) honoring Leah Pimentel on Nov. 7 for her service as a founding commissioner and for work on affordable housing, enforcement of obligations from redevelopment dissolution, and community economic development across OCII project areas.
Commissioner Singh read the resolution text reciting appointments and accomplishments, and several commissioners offered personal thanks on the record for Pimentel’s advocacy for families and affordable housing. A member of the public also offered praise. Commissioner Bustos moved adoption; Commissioner Rosales seconded; the Commission voted 4‑0 in favor.
Pimentel thanked the Commission and praised the agency’s work to produce homes and jobs. The commissioners paused for a photo with Pimentel at the dais following adoption.
