DAS Commission approves multiple grant modifications to restore services, expand legal aid and add language staff to ADRCs

The San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services Commission voted unanimously Oct. 5 to approve a package of grant modifications intended to restore pandemic‑interrupted services, expand legal assistance for older adults and add language capacity to Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs).
Tiana Coleman of the Office of Community Partnerships asked the commission to authorize an additional $230,236 (plus a 10% contingency) to modify multiple community service grants for the period July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, for a revised total not to exceed $2,807,313.
