Commission elects vice president, appoints subcommittee and approves personnel evaluations
Summary

At the Nov. 16 meeting the Building Inspection Commission elected Commissioner Walker as vice president by unanimous roll-call vote. The commission also nominated Commissioner Warshall to serve on the nomination subcommittee; that nomination was approved unanimously.
In closed session, the commission considered annual performance evaluations. After returning to open session the commission disclosed that it unanimously approved the performance evaluation for commission secretary Sonia Harris. It also accepted the director's 2015–2016 evaluation and amended it with a memo that will outline three priorities for fiscal 2016–17; commissioners said they aim to issue that memo before the Dec. 20 meeting.
Other routine actions at the meeting included approval of the April 20, 2016 minutes by consent and a motion to adjourn at 1:29 p.m.
