OCII commends Executive Director Tiffany Bohee and appoints Nadia Sasse as interim director

Bohee told the commission she is leaving OCII after 17 years and “I've just accepted a position as general manager for Lendlease, to head up their San Francisco development office,” and presented an exit report outlining OCII’s housing and neighborhood work. Her remarks included a statement that the Mission Bay Alliance lawsuit had concluded when the California Supreme Court declined to hear the case.
The resolution (No. 1‑2017) recited Bohee’s leadership during redevelopment’s transition to OCII, her role in major projects in Mission Bay, Transbay, Candlestick Point and Hunters Point Shipyard, and the agency’s delivery of affordable housing and community benefits. Commissioners read the three‑page resolution aloud during the meeting.
Public commenters and OCII staff filled the meeting room to offer praise and thanks. Corinne Woods, chair of the Mission Based Citizens Advisory Committee, said Bohee has been “a stalwart champion of Mission Bay,” and several staff members, including Deputy Director Sally Orth, described Bohee’s stewardship through the agency’s dissolution and rebuilding. Longtime community member Oscar James urged the commission to select a successor who “we can trust” and said community members had expected this meeting to be held in Hunters Point.
Following a closed session on the appointment of an interim executive director, Commissioner Singh moved to appoint Nadia Sasse to the interim post; the motion carried on a roll call vote. Commissioners Pimentel, Singh, Vice Chair Mondahar and Chair Rosales voted yes; Commissioner Bustos was absent. The chair announced the appointment was approved 4 ayes, 1 absent.
