The Building Inspection Commission unanimously approved the nomination of Brian Sellers on Nov. 18 to the registered fire‑protection engineer seat on the Code Advisory Committee.
Nominations subcommittee members described Sellers as a qualified San Francisco resident with relevant experience in fire protection engineering. Sellers addressed the Commission, saying he has been a practicing fire protection engineer in the city for five years and expressed interest in representing the industry on the committee. The Commission then took a roll‑call vote and recorded unanimous approval. Sellers subsequently repeated the oath of office administered by the secretary.
The appointment was recorded as accepted and Sellers was welcomed to his duties as the code advisory committee’s registered fire‑protection engineer representative.
