Commission approves committee appointments and candidate oaths; motions carry unanimously

At its April 16 meeting the Building Inspection Commission considered nominations from the nomination subcommittee and approved recommended appointments to two advisory bodies by unanimous roll call votes.
The commission approved nominees for the Access Appeals Commission including Walter Park, Ronald Verinelli and Alice G. Brown with terms expiring Nov. 1, 2016; the motion to accept the nominations was moved and seconded and the roll call recorded yes votes from the commissioners present. Candidates who were present were sworn in by the commission secretary.
The commission also approved a slate of appointments to the Code Advisory Committee (including, among others, Jerry Cunningham, Mark Cunningham, Robert Davis, Henry Karnilewicz, Renee Vinos, Steven Harris and others listed on the record). That motion was seconded and similarly carried by unanimous roll call.
Both votes were recorded as unanimous among the commissioners present; the meeting minutes were later approved and the commission adjourned at 10:27 a.m.
