Citizens Bond Oversight Committee urges better budget-vs-actual reporting before next bond

Volunteers on the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) told the Board of Education they have made progress restoring transparency and audit compliance since earlier deficiencies, but they flagged persistent gaps in project-level budget-to-actual tracking for the 2016 bond program and recommended stronger board oversight before any new bond measure.
"We are now in legal compliance," CBOC Vice Chair Patrick Wolf said. "But there is still more information that needs to be presented."
