The board approved three tentative agreements and accompanying AB 1200 disclosures: a UESF agreement containing five special‑education workgroup items (job studies, review of caseloads, early childhood staffing and training/supervision provisions); a salary reopener for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; and a salary agreement with common crafts.
Ms. Bair summarized the UESF tentative agreement as concluding the district’s negotiations for the 2024–25 school year and said it includes a joint job‑study for nurses and social workers and a group to review special‑education caseloads and workloads. "The district and UESF participated in a special education work group and reached agreement on five tentative areas," Ms. Bair stated.
The IBEW and common crafts agreements provide salary increases effective July 1 (various years noted in the disclosures); district staff said the financial impacts were included in the AB 1200 disclosures attached to the agenda and were reviewed by fiscal advisors. Each tentative agreement was approved by roll call.
