Board continues three abatement appeals to March 20; appellant had requested continuances

At its Feb. 20, 2013 meeting the Abatement Appeals Board agreed to continue three pending appeals to the board's March meeting on March 20.
Rosemarie Bonski, Chief Housing Inspector, told the board that the appellant had requested a continuance on all three matters and that the secretary of abatement had granted the continuance. Bonski noted the remaining matters included cases filed after the 15-day filing window and another matter where the owner seeks waiver of assessment of costs even though an abatement order had not been issued; staff reported time had already been spent on that file and that a substantive staff report existed.
For the record the board identified the cases to be continued as Case No. 67731316 (1322 Mariposa St.), Case No. 67723558 (addresses 3562 and 3580 San Bruno Ave., units 1'0), and Case No. 6774 (listed addresses including 1265 Girard St.). The board confirmed the continuances would be scheduled for the March 20 meeting.
No public comment was offered on non-agendized items before the board adjourned at approximately 9:13 a.m.
The appellants or other parties can appear or submit materials by the March hearing date as directed by the board's procedures.
