- Developer impact fees: The board adopted the statutorily required annual and five-year report covering the FY ending June 30, 2021. Staff reported $6,468,000 collected and roughly $6,200,000 expended in 2021 and a fund balance reported at about $35.4 million; staff noted many pipeline capital projects in the report.
- Labor MOU for online/on-demand learning: The board approved a memorandum of understanding with the United Educators of San Francisco addressing the district’s online/on-demand program and pandemic-related provisions (one commissioner recorded a no vote).
- Resolution continuing virtual meetings: The board adopted a 30-day finding that it remains necessary to continue virtual meetings under the state of emergency; staff were asked to return in January with options for hybrid meetings.
- Expulsions: The board approved stipulated expulsion agreements for two high-school students (matters were voted in closed session).
Several other agenda items were acted on as part of the consent calendar. Many items included public comment and follow-up directions to staff for implementation and reporting.
Board staff and committee chairs said they will report further in committee meetings in January and February, including more detailed budget-and-scheduling guidance for schools affected by the balancing plan.
