On reconvening from closed session the board reported that, by a vote of 5 ayes with two absences, it approved a settlement agreement with two certificated employees in a public-employee discipline/dismissal matter and authorized payment for a stipulated settlement in an OAH case (case number referenced in the record). The board also provided direction to general counsel in six matters of anticipated litigation.
