At the conclusion of a closed session on March 6 the San Francisco Unified School District board reported a series of personnel actions. The board announced it had given direction to general counsel on one anticipated litigation matter and approved a set of administrator contracts across multiple categories. Reported outcomes included approval votes described in the meeting record as "by a vote of 7 ayes" for most contract approvals; a small number of items were reported as approved by a vote of 6 ayes with 1 nay (Commissioner Sanchez) for one principal contract and for other listed items.
Actions reported by the board included approval of contracts for assistant superintendents, executive directors, directors, supervisors and program administrators; issuance of notices that certain executive director, supervisor or administrator contracts may not be renewed; approval of one probationary certificated employee’s advancement to certificated status; and other personnel administrative actions. The clerk read the post‑closed‑session report into the public record as the meeting resumed.
The board did not provide individual names for each approved contract in the oral report but recorded the vote counts and categories of personnel actions. The meeting adjourned after the board completed its business and reported out the closed‑session items.
