The San Francisco Board of Education held a public hearing and voted to adopt tentative agreements with Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 1021. Chief of Labor Relations Carmelo Scarlato read the requested action into the record and asked the board to conduct a public hearing and adopt the tentative agreements and related public disclosure documents.
There were no public speakers on the item. Commissioners thanked the negotiating teams and labor partners for reaching an agreement that staff described as collegial and productive. The board approved the agreement in a roll call vote that produced the required number of ayes.
