Board discussion recognized the school’s growth and student outcomes; some commissioners underscored rural concerns about charter impacts on the district but ultimately supported renewal. The roll-call vote approved the renewal petition 5–2; two commissioners recorded "no" votes.
The renewal authorizes the charter with the standard statutory conditions and requested that the school continue partnerships and supports for English learners and low-income students. Several commissioners asked the school to continue focusing on inclusiveness and outreach as it grows.
