Board adopts Vision 2025 resolution and extends Superintendent Carranza's contract

Commissioners praised the vision as a unifying guide that will inform district priorities and programs.
The board then approved an employment agreement to keep Carranza as superintendent for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018, with an annual salary reported by counsel of $310,000. Commissioners across the board expressed support for Carranza's leadership and the stability his contract provides.
Both actions passed by roll call with unanimous votes.
