Board adopts SFUSD special‑education annual budget and service plan with minor form corrections

Dodge also confirmed that several service items (intensive individual instruction, interpreter services, audiological services and vocational assessment) should be checked as adopted.
Commissioners asked about items left unchecked on the form; staff explained the omissions resulted from an earlier draft being circulated and confirmed the corrected form will be part of the record. Staff also said the local CAC (citizens advisory committee) will be engaged in further budget and special‑education redesign discussions.
The board adopted the plan by roll call with the corrections noted in the record.
