SFUSD launches Vision 2025 process; superintendent lists enrollment fair, partnerships and community meetings

The district plans middle‑years learning visits in November, adolescent‑years in December and early years in January, with a first consolidated draft expected by February.
Superintendent Carranza invited families to an enrollment fair on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Concourse Exhibition Center and listed a series of regional public meetings in early November to gather input on renewal of the Children's Fund and the Public Education Enrichment Fund. Carranza also congratulated UCSF Hearts and SFUSD School Health Programs for a community partnership award and highlighted a native‑plant restoration field trip with June Jordan School for Equity students at Heron’s Head Park.
Board members and public speakers — including UESF representatives — commended the process and asked for expanded student and teacher participation; district staff said they would broaden outreach and share session materials on the district website (www.sfusd.edu/vision2025).
