Mister Ruiz, reading the recommendation, described the action as "a tentative agreement that we the district has reached with Local 21" and said the item would adopt the extension of the collective bargaining agreement and the required public disclosure documents. No public speakers were signed up for the item.
The board moved, seconded, and approved the agreement by roll-call vote recorded as 7 ayes.
The item authorizes district staff to finalize the public disclosure documents required for adoption and to proceed with implementation consistent with the terms of the negotiated agreement.
