District staff (Mr. Ruiz) described the action as the public hearing and adoption of the tentative agreement on Article 16 (duration of contract and restoration of economic concessions). Principal Durkee, speaking for the administrators, urged the board to vote yes, calling the settlement a hard-fought three-year contract and thanking negotiating teams.
The board recorded seven ayes in a roll call vote approving the agreement. The public disclosure document for the economic agreement had been adopted earlier on June 22, and UASF membership ratified the agreement on Sept. 28.
