The elections came early in the board’s agenda after the temporary chair outlined the nomination process and explained that nominations do not require a second. The board’s actions were procedural and uncontested: the president and vice president positions were filled by acclamation/roll call without recorded opposition.
The new leadership will preside as the board begins work on its agenda for 2007, including updates on capital projects, student-enrollment timelines and several action items carried that night.
