Unauthorized dwelling removal — 656 Andover Street: Staff recommended, and the commission approved, a conditional use authorization to remove and return an unauthorized basement dwelling unit (UDU) to garage use after finding legalization was not financially feasible; the vote was unanimous 7–0.
Discretionary review (3145–3147 Jackson Street): Neighbors filed DR requests alleging excessive height, loss of daylight, excavation and tree/retaining‑wall risks for a proposed addition and penthouse. After presentations and an extended public record (including shadow, daylight factor and geotechnical concerns by neighbors and arborist/geotech/architect responses from the sponsor), the commission voted 6–1 not to grant the DR requests (Commissioner Moore voted no), effectively approving the project as conditioned by staff.
