Commission handles continuances and consent calendar; memorial for former commissioner Ron Miguel

At the start of the July 9 remote hearing the commission announced several continuances, including continuance of items related to 2005 Seventeenth Street and 2441 Mission Street to later dates in July and items on the discretionary review calendar (including 350–352/353 San Jose Avenue) to September. Affected applicants and community callers spoke during the limited public comment period and several callers asked for continuances to allow more review and coordination.
The commission later approved consent calendar items 4 and 5 and unanimously adopted three sets of draft minutes for June 18 and June 25. Commissioners opened the meeting with tributes to former Commission President Ron Miguel and department staff conveyed condolences to his family.
