• Project approvals and permits (votes): - 101 Townsend (office development authorization for 41,206 sq ft): Approved with conditions, unanimous 6‑0. - 3657 Taraval (conditional use authorization to open a restaurant and extend hours): Approved with conditions and expanded hours up to 2 AM as amended by the commission, unanimous 6‑0. - 981 Grove (discretionary review for single‑family vertical addition): After public testimony and RDT analysis, the commission approved the project as proposed, unanimous 6‑0. - Sutro Tower (mandatory discretionary review for antennas and ground improvements): Approved with supplemental conditions including a six‑month landscaping plan, painting of visible equipment, screening feasibility and neighbor coordination, unanimous 6‑0.
Each formal vote was recorded by roll call in the hearing transcript and minutes. Several items included explicit implementation directions (staff follow‑up, coordination with other city departments, and neighborhood outreach) and the commission frequently urged staff to prioritize timely delivery of data or mitigation plans where community concerns had been raised.
