The San Francisco Planning Commission took several procedural and administrative actions during its Jan. 15 meeting.
Continuances: The commission voted to continue multiple calendar items (including cases at 400 Alabama St., 276 Hartford St., the Little Yosemite fish‑passage project, and others) as proposed. The motion to continue the listed items passed unanimously at the time of the vote (recorded as 6–0).
Consent calendar: Commissioners approved the consent calendar after one item (a Market Street conversion) was pulled for separate hearing. Item 7 (conditional use at 1 Newhall Street, case 2012.1172C) was approved on a roll‑call vote (ayes recorded from sitting commissioners).
Election of officers: Commissioners nominated Rodney Fong for president and Cindy Wu for vice president. After discussion of priorities and approaches for the upcoming year, the commission voted to elect Commissioner Fong as president and Commissioner Wu as vice president (motion passed unanimously).
