Planning Commission approves continuances and consent calendar; several items rescheduled

At the start of the meeting, the chair announced several requests for continuance, including case 2014.0225C at 1998 Polk Street and items affecting 660 Third Street and a proposed anti-discrimination housing ordinance (case 2014.0434T). Commissioner Antonini moved to continue items 1, 2 and 3 to the dates listed and to continue item 4 indefinitely; the motion was seconded and passed by a 7-0 roll call.
Staff then recited the consent calendar, which included condominium conversion and conditional-use authorization requests for addresses including 219 Cumberland Street, 1609–1617 Noe Street and 722 South Van Ness Avenue, and a zoning map amendment for Macoppin Plaza (case 2014.0647Z). Commissioner Antonini moved to approve all consent items; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously 7-0.
The actions were recorded by roll call; individual commissioners announced aye votes. The commission placed the approved matters under the consent calendar as routine business and noted that any item could be pulled for separate discussion if requested by a commissioner, a member of the public or staff.
