She said neighborhood meetings were exclusionary and that information provided to the commission and residents was false, and she recited concerns about a lack of contracts and limited awareness among the Methodist annual conference.
Staff acknowledged the comment but did not record any immediate action or staff directive during the hearing. The remarks were part of a broader public comment period and did not trigger removal of any consent items or a board referral on Oct. 17.
The commission did not take a formal vote related to the allegations. Commissioners proceeded to other agenda items after public comment closed.
