Later, the commission approved several matters on the consent calendar, including conditional-use requests listed as items 5 and 7 a/b, by a single roll-call vote. Item 6 (case 2013.0128C at 2460 Lombard) was considered separately; staff presented a draft motion and findings recommending disapproval. After no public testimony was offered on that item, Commissioner Sugaya moved to adopt the findings prepared by staff and disapprove the project; the motion passed 6 to 1 with Commissioner Antonini dissenting.
These procedural votes placed routine matters onto the consent calendar and removed the disapproved item for separate handling. The commission recorded votes individually by name during roll call.
The commission moved on to its regular calendar after the consent actions.
