At the start of the meeting the Planning Commission considered several proposed continuances and a routine consent calendar. Staff asked the commission to continue four cases and one discretionary-review item to dates in September and October to allow more time for settlement and review.
Commissioner Antonini moved to continue Items 1–4 (including cases at 100 Piccero Avenue, 2750 Jackson Street, 1865 Post Street and 1856 Pacific Avenue) and Item 13 (2807 Clay Street) to the calendar dates announced by staff; Commissioner Borden seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
The commission then considered the consent calendar, which included items such as case 2011.1049B (1098 Harrison Street) and several conditional use and time-extension requests. Commissioner Borden moved approval of the consent calendar; it passed by unanimous roll-call vote.
No members of the public spoke on those procedural or consent items before the votes. The continuances leave Item 3 (1865 Post Street) scheduled for Oct. 25, 2012; Item 13 was continued to Sept. 20, 2012, per staff notice.
