On July 19 the Planning Commission unanimously approved a staff‑recommended extension of the performance period for a previously approved project at 100 California Street.
Kevin Guy of the Planning Department summarized the request to extend the performance period to July 19, 2015, for a project originally approved January 31, 2008, to add a six‑story vertical addition of approximately 78,000 gross square feet of office space to an existing 13‑story building and a 1,500‑square‑foot ground‑floor retail space. Project sponsor Andrew Junius confirmed no other changes to conditions or project intensity were being proposed beyond the three‑year extension; commissioners emphasized they expected the approved drawings and conditions from 2008 to continue to govern future site permits.
Commissioner Moore moved approval; the motion passed unanimously.
