Planning commission certifies CPMC final EIR, forwards LRDP and development agreement to Board of Supervisors amid heavy public comment

The San Francisco Planning Commission on April 26 certified the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for California Pacific Medical Center’s long‑range development plan and forwarded the project’s land‑use entitlements and a city‑negotiated development agreement to the Board of Supervisors, after a daylong hearing that drew hundreds of public commenters. The LRDP would rebuild CPMC’s system across five campuses, including a new Cathedral Hill hospital on Van Ness and Geary and an upgraded St. Luke’s campus.
