San Francisco — The Board of Appeals voted July 27 to grant an appeal by Stephen Gans challenging a Zoning Administrator determination about a 1999 permit at 425 Brannon Street.
Vice President Frank Fung moved to overturn the ZA’s letter of determination on the ground that the 1999 permit was reflective of an office use and the ZA erred in concluding otherwise. The board allowed Commissioner Bobby Wilson to participate after he reviewed the file and the video; the motion carried 4 to 0.
President Daryl Honda read the vote and commissioners recorded their positions on the motion. The board’s action restores the prior determination for the property and closes the appeal on that matter.
