Supervisor Wiener told the commission many of the amendments “are already in compromise form,” and said he had negotiated language with staff intended to give property owners and tenants a clearer role in nomination and outreach for historic and conservation districts. Planning staff reiterated that the code changes would formalize outreach and processes that the department already conducts for potential historic districts.
