Architect Lisa Wong and owner Kim Lipkowitz described the concept: an owner‑operated play space where parents remain on site while children use play equipment, with an emphasis on accessibility and neighborhood demand. Lipkowitz said the space is intended to be affordable and initially open part time.
No opposition was presented at the hearing. Commissioners noted the project is not a licensed daycare (parents will remain with children) and that standard fire and building‑code reviews will apply for public assembly uses. The motion to approve carried unanimously.
