Staff also reported that the Department of Public Health reviewed the project’s radio frequency (RF) emissions and found the expected output to be within Federal Communications Commission (FCC) public exposure limits.
AT&T representatives said the site would fill important coverage and capacity gaps as smartphone and data demand continues to rise. No members of the public spoke on the item during the hearing. Commissioners asked technical questions and then voted to approve the permit with standard conditions.
