Planning commission continues several calendar items and approves routine consent cases

The San Francisco Planning Commission on Dec. 2 continued multiple calendar items to allow more neighborhood meetings and approved its consent calendar in a single roll-call vote.
Commission staff told the commission that the project sponsor for 35 Lloyd Street asked to continue consideration to Jan. 13; the sponsor and nearby neighbors said they had met and supported the new date. The commission also agreed to move three T‑Mobile wireless cases — listed on the agenda as items 13, 14 and 15 — to Feb. 17 to accommodate coordination with neighborhood schedules and Board of Supervisors timetables. Commissioner Lage moved the continuances and the motion passed unanimously.
Separately the commission approved two consent items by roll call. Case 2010.0778C (3876 Noriega Street), seeking conditional-use authorization for a neighborhood-scale self-service food bakery, and case 2010.072C (2505 Third Street), a proposal to convert roughly 8,300 square feet of ground-floor space into a brewery and a 2,400-square-foot full-service restaurant, were both passed without separate discussion after staff recommended approval.
The chair said the continuances were intended to give both project sponsors and neighbors time to negotiate outstanding issues. The items will return on the revised dates for further consideration.
