The Board of Appeals on Feb. 5 upheld a Department of Building Inspection alteration permit for repair and replacement of a rear stairway, porch decking and footings at 801 and 803 Kansas St.
Neighbor appellants Michael Schafer and Richard Tsai attended and told the board they had seen the revised plans and supported them. Planning representative Scott Sanchez said his initial review indicated the plans dated Jan. 30, 2014, "appear to comply with the planning code." The board voted 4-0 to adopt the revised plans and uphold the permit.
The decision ends the appeal for this item; the permit stands as upheld with the revised plans dated Jan. 30, 2014.
