Joann Coogler of the Planning Department framed the session as a hearing on the adequacy and accuracy of the draft SEIS/SEIR and emphasized that the commission would not decide whether to approve the project that day. The planning staff said the comment period was open through Dec. 10 and that written comments would be included in the final document.
