The San Francisco Board of Appeals voted unanimously to adopt findings prepared by the city attorney related to a revocation of a permit for a Culinary Art Studio at 725 Folsom Street.
Curtis Smoller, counsel for the Museum Park Homeowners Association, argued the use was "out of character" with the neighborhood and urged the board to consider revocation under the city charter. Jesse Branstair, the studio owner, said he regretted the delays and indicated plans to relocate his business elsewhere in San Francisco.
Vice President Fung moved to adopt the Office of the City Attorney's findings without change; Commissioners Goh, Garcia, Peterson and Mandelmann joined Fung in a 5‑0 vote to adopt the findings. The board noted that the 10‑day period to request a rehearing begins with the adoption.
