The Board of Appeals unanimously adopted amended findings in a set of hotel‑conversion appeals (PO Nos. O8‑088, O8‑122, 08126, 127) after Deputy City Attorney Catherine Barnes presented minor wording and typographical corrections and highlighted one substantive correction (finding 14) that required four votes.
Union‑side counsel Sue Hester (Unite Here Local 2), Fairmont counsel Caroline Guibert, and Grand Hyatt representative Steve Vettel all told the board they supported cleaning up the documents so the record matched the letter of determination and attachments. Ms. Barnes explained the correction addressed an error in the order of projects in the attachment and said the correction better aligned the bulletin, letter of determination and attachment.
The board voted to adopt the findings as amended, including the substantive change to finding 14; the vote was 5–0.
