The committee continued consideration of Amendment #6 to a contract between the Department of Public Works and Hunters Point Family to support the Pit Stop workforce-development and restroom program after Public Works said the sixth amendment was not included in the required 72‑hour submittal package, creating a Brown Act noticing deficiency.
Bruce Robertson, Public Works CFO, said the department requested a one-week continuance to correct attachments and ensure the BLA and any missing documents are available to the public; committee members moved and approved a continuance to the Sept. 25 meeting and later rescinded and re-amended the motion to ensure the resolution text correctly referenced 'Amendment #6.' The committee recorded unanimous votes to continue (3–0).
