Budget & Finance Committee forwards slate of grants, contracts and housing items to full Board

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors Budget & Finance Committee advanced a package of resolutions, contracts and grants to the full Board on June 11, voting to forward each item with a positive recommendation.

Several items were continued rather than acted on: a proposed acquisition of 624 Laguna Street was continued to the chair’s call, and an ordinance creating an annual temporary‑food permit could not be acted upon because a fee‑add public notice was not posted in time. The committee also duplicated and amended mayoral legislation to waive fees for qualifying neighborhood outdoor events; the committee adopted a limitation to 12 recurring fee‑waived events per sponsor in a year and then forwarded the amended duplicate to the full Board for further consideration.
