Budget committee forwards ordinance extending several cannabis permits to full Board

The Budget & Finance Committee on Nov. 6 forwarded to the full Board of Supervisors an ordinance that renews and extends a set of medical and temporary cannabis business permits and related fee waivers.
Supervisor Rafael Mandelmann said he had offered amendments at the prior hearing that were subject to the usual one‑week amendment period and asked the committee to recommend the item favorably. There was no public comment on the ordinance, and Chair Sandra Lee Feuer moved the item to the board with a positive recommendation; the motion was accepted without objection.
The clerk noted that items acted on by the committee will appear on the Nov. 12 board agenda unless otherwise stated. No substantive debate or amendments were recorded on the committee floor during the Nov. 6 session; staff materials and any negotiated changes will be available in the board packet.
