' Release of Reserve Funds for the District Attorney (Item 7): The committee approved releasing $84,360 from previously reserved funds to the Office of the District Attorney to hire an additional attorney in the Independent Investigation Bureau to support conviction review and address a backlog; the BLA recommended retaining the remaining $182,000 on reserve.
' AirTrain Contract Modification (Item 8): The committee forwarded a fourth modification to the AirTrain operations and maintenance contract with Bombardier that exercises the final one-year option and increases the contract by $14,854,228 (new total not to exceed $130,299,196); the BLA reviewed and recommended approval.
' PUC Site License Amendment (Item 4): The committee recommended approval of a retroactive amendment authorizing an additional 6-foot dish antenna at a Modesto telecommunications site and a $6,600 increase in annual license fee; staff said prior environmental review (2013 MND) contemplated this dish and no new review was necessary.
' Community Corrections Partnership (Item 3): The committee forwarded a resolution that will allow the CCP Executive Committee to develop spending recommendations for $168,000 in local innovation subaccount funds for pretrial services and/or transitional reentry housing for justice-involved people ages 18—2. Steve Adame (Adult Probation) said the executive committee met and reached a consensus to use the funds for those purposes, pending Board approval.
