The Government Audit & Oversight Committee opened on March 18 with two ordinances settling lawsuits and a resolution settling an unlitigated claim scheduled as items 2–4. Chair Dean Preston moved that the settlement items be recommended to the Board of Supervisors on April 6. The roll call recorded ayes from Vice Chair Connie Chan, Supervisor Rafael Mandelmann and Chair Preston. The clerk recorded three ayes and the motion passed.
The committee did not go into closed session on those items and took public comment availability for the litigation agenda via the meeting phone-in. The clerk indicated these items will be reported to the full Board on April 6, 2021.
